1. Are Nero Port Laurent marble and Port Saint Laurent marble the same material?
Nero Port Laurent and Port Saint Laurent are established trade names associated with Port Laurent marble from Morocco. Trade naming alone does not guarantee the same colour range, quarry selection or finish. Confirm the actual lot and the approved sample when comparing offers.
2. Is New Port Laurent marble identical to this material?
New Port Laurent marble is a trade description used in the market. Do not assume that it guarantees an identical source or appearance. Send the supplier's reference, origin information and sample so the material can be compared with the selected Port Laurent lot.
3. Will honed marble tiles look as dark as polished Port Laurent?
Not necessarily. Honing changes the reflected light and can make a dark surface look softer or lighter. Lighting and treatments also affect appearance. Approve the final honed sample, including any proposed treatment, rather than using a polished sample as the finish standard.
4. Are honed Port Laurent tiles suitable for bathroom or shower floors?
Honed describes the finish; it is not a slip-resistance rating. For wet floors, confirm suitable test results for the actual supplied finish and treatment, together with the drainage and installation design.
5. Can I order 500 × 500 mm tiles or another custom format?
Yes, formats can be reviewed for cutting from the selected slabs. Send exact length, width, quantity and finished thickness. The reference thickness is 18 mm; other thickness requests require confirmation. State inch dimensions explicitly rather than treating nominal inch and metric sizes as interchangeable.
6. Does sealing prevent stains, scratches and acid marks?
A suitable impregnating sealer can improve stain resistance, but it does not make marble stain-proof, scratch-proof or resistant to acid etching. Use a neutral stone cleaner, clean spills promptly and protect floors from abrasive grit. Follow the care instructions for the selected stone and treatment.
7. How do I obtain samples, pricing, MOQ and lead time?
Send the tile schedule, quantity, finish, layout requirements and destination. Sample availability and courier charges, MOQ and production time are confirmed for the selected material and cutting scope. The quote should state packing and delivery terms, with shipping transit identified separately.
