So what are the requirements and precautions for marble and granite in the processing of mitered edge?

1. In the process of cutting, we must pay attention to the layout of the granite and marble slabs first, the main top and the sticky strip must be taken from the same big slab, and cutting with the grain to ensure an integrated visual effect.

2. Before cutting at mitered edge, special adhesive tape needs to be attached to the edge of the slabs to minimize the phenomenon of edge chipping and Angle chipping.

3. The corners must be rinsed before sticking, so that the appearance will not be affected by dust. The glue that sticks the edge should use slow-drying AB glue and do a good job of reinforcement to ensure that the edge is seamless and thus ensure its integrated effect.

4. It is recommended to operate in a dust-free workshop when making 45-degree adhesive edges, otherwise it is easy to affect the beauty of the seams due to dust, especially for white and light-colored materials.

5. Due to the complexity of the process, many manufacturers cannot provide 45 degree machining. If you want a mitered edge, you need to find a professional manufacturer like us YALITONG STONE COMPANY.
