Chinese Grey Wooden Marble    

Grey Wooden Marble is one of the most popular Chinese marble. It is quarried in Guizhou province, so it is also called Guizhou wood marble, grey wood grain marble. There are different quarries of this marble with different patterns and different color shades. We can classify them into two colors, one is light grey, the other is dark grey and looks brownish.

Same to all wood grain marble, the surface of this marble may have natural water lines, pink lines, and crystal dots. But different from white wood marble, it may only have a couple of natural crystal lines on one slab, and the price of good slabs is much better than white wooden marble; which means the quality is easier to be controlled than white wooden marble.

There are two cutting ways of this marble, cross-cut and vein-cut. Vein-cut is a common cutting way. Now cross-cut big slabs also become more popular due to its random veins, which look free and antique.
